Join us at HACC's Dual Career & Transfer Services Virtual Fair! During the fair you will be able to speak with employer and transfer services partners about employment positions, experiential learning opportunities, internship experiences and the transfer services process. You may visit the employer and transfer partners booths in their respective halls to gather information and have your questions answered.

When the fair closes, you will still have access to visit the fair booths in their respective halls for an entire month. So, check out all the great information that the employers and transfer partners have to share with you. #HACC Yeah

We offer a variety of in-person, hybrid and online events to help you in any stage of your career path. Whether you’re choosing a major, looking to get the most out of your internship, exploring possible careers in your field, or preparing your job search, HACC’s career services team is here to help you! Resume & Cover Letter Writing Assistance

To help prepare you, the Career Development and Transfer Services Unit offers online or in-person assistance with cover letter and resume writing. To schedule an appointment please use Navigate or email careerservices@hacc.edu. You can also browse the "My Resume and Interview Toolbox" bulletin board for guidance and tips at every stage of your job search and interview process.

DUAL ADMISSION AND HOW IT CAN ASSIST YOU IN THE TRANSFER PROCESS

A dual-admission agreement is a cooperative partnership between HACC and a four-year college or university. It is for students interested in pursuing a bachelor degree. This agreement will:

  • Facilitate your admission process
  • Transfer your associate degree credits into a bachelor degree program
  • Help ensure you do not lose any time or money

We have over 10 colleges and universities you can choose from for a dual-admission agreement.

PREPARE FOR THE INTERVIEW

The Career Development and Transfer Services Unit offers mock interviews for our students as a valuable resource to help them prepare and present their best selves to potential employers. These sessions provide a supportive environment where students can practice their interview skills, receive constructive feedback, and build confidence. Our goal is to equip students with the tools they need to excel in real interviews and make a lasting impression on employers. CONNECT WITH EMPLOYERS & TRANSFER REPS

Engage with industry leaders, executive, recruiters and partners during this virtual fair. Beforehand review the list of participating partners to research the companies/organizations who will be attending. Prepare questions in advance based upon your interests. Take full advantage to speak with people in the know to answer your questions and/or provide guidance about your career and transfer pathways.

MAXIMIZE YOUR TRANSFER POTENTIAL

Your HACC courses must meet your transfer institution's requirements. To plan a successful transfer, you should:

  • Select your specific transfer college as soon as possible.
  • Choose a transfer curriculum.
  • Work with your advisor to select required transfer courses.
  • Review HACC's transfer information. This includes transfer check sheets, comprehensive transfer notebooks, course equivalencies, transfer agreements, college directories and catalogs.

HACC’S CAREER SERVICES PLATFORM; COLLEGE CENTRAL NETWORK (CCN) – ONLINE POSTING BOARDS

We utilize College Central Network (CCN), HACC’s Career Services platform which hosts two online job boards with numerous employment and internship opportunities specifically posted for HACC students and alumni and a generalized board as well. You can review job search related resources and are also able to upload your resume here for employers to view.
